After reception of your declaration, your case will be treated by us as immediate as possible.


What documentation do we need in order to treat your claim?

For all coverages:

  • If individual insurance: copy of your policy, if collective insurance: copy of the insurance confirmation

Further for:

  • Cancellation costs account
  • Piece of evidence for this insured event (e.g. for illness: medical certificate with diagnosis, for death: death certificate)
  • Travel agency's contractual terms and conditions
  • Tour operator's contractual terms and conditions
  • Invoice for booked travel package/original booking confirmation
  • Police report
  • A record of the facts of the case
  • Receipts and confirmations
  • Piece of evidence for this insured event (e.g. for illness: medical certificate with diagnosis, for death: death certificate)
  • If travelling into Switzerland: a copy of the passport with an entry stamp (Visa)
  • Medical certificate with diagnosis
  • Invoices for the costs of doctors, medication and hospital costs, plus doctors' prescription
  • Invoice for booked travel package/original booking confirmation
  • Supporting documents for the insured event (e.g. for illness: medical certificate with diagnosis, for death: death certificate)
  • Original receipts for unforeseen expenses, e.g. telephone charges (excluding food and refreshments)
  • Confirmation of car rental booking
  • Copy of rental agreement showing the excess and third party limit of indemnity
  • Incident report by the person renting the car
  • Credit card statement showing debits for the rent and loss
  • Claim submitted by the vehicle rental company
